Spring is upon us, the clocks have gone forward, lighter evenings and starting to enjoy some better weather.

Good news is all around especially at Solent where we have some exciting things coming up.

We are moving into a new market parqwood flooring. We are the only distributor in the UK teaming up with Berry Alloc, Parqwood all the details are available at https://www.berryalloc.com/global/en/strong-wood-floors Highlights of the product are it has a 0.60mm oaktop, 2 bevel, with a HDF core and an easy to fit locking system. Every plank is unique with natural features, knots and colour variation giving a distinct look to any space.This responsible floor covers up to ten times more floor surface area with the same amount of oak as a traditional parquet floor. In the next couple of months we will be having a trade day showcasing the product with all its benefits.

We will also be changing our laminate to a new 8mm called Capri, 4 bevel with a 20 year residential warranty. Abrasion ClasAC4 with the easy Pentaloc system. 6 Colours available and 5 of them with the Hydro lock water resistant feature. Scratch Resistant suitable over underfloor heating and 20 residential warranty. Alpine will be phased out but we can still obtain it on a special order basis.

Carpet wise, Primo Plus is being recoloured and new books are coming shortly we have already reduced our price on this, in anticipation of the new range.

Safety floor samples are being made up as you read this, and we are stocking the welds in full rolls which are also available in linear metres of 1m for the small job. Cap and cove the Internal and External Cove Corners and tools and blades, see page 17 for full details.

Noirtex XL is being recoloured, more details of that to follow.

We are also going to be stocking a new range we are calling Africana which is three animal prints and two Zebra prints 4m wide. Even before we have the samples we have sold two rolls.
